The boundaries originated by heads-up digitizing by markups on a paper map drawn by the Police department. The police districts are loosely related to the neighborhoods designated by the Comprehensive Plan. Note that there are more neighborhoods than police districts designated; a police district may overlap more than one neighborhood.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>In 2018, the Police District layer was updated to the support the Spillman upgrade which included additional districts for dispatch. </SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
