Description: Layer identifying the location of commercial, mixed use, multifamily, single family, and underground building structures in the City of Redmond. Most of the building outlines originated from 1993 aerial photography project identified during the Sewer Comprehensive Plan update. Single family building outlines were omitted during the project. Furthermore, in 1999 under separate contract with Triathlon Ltd. (formally Nies Mapping Group, Inc.) additional commercial, multifamily, and building additions were captured from the 1999 aerial photos. From that point forward, new building outlines have been mapped from paper and/or electronic record drawings and construction drawings. The original data was delivered in Microstation (CAD) format and later imported into GeoMedia/MS Access warehouse. In the Fall of 2008, a project was initiated to map all single family homes including detached single family garages within the City Limits and UPDs from the 2004 Aerial Photography. In the Spring of 2009, another project was intiated to research and map underground buildings typically parking garages that are within the City Limits and UPDs.
