Description: The dataset provides location of hard surfaces within the City of Redmond city limits. The LID approach to developing land and managing stormwater is to imitate the natural movement of water through a site. In 2006 the City of Redmond incorporated LID as part of an overall approach to managing stormwater. The City encourages and supports builders and developers who want to use LID techniques. The mapping of hard surfaces was initiated in 2019 by the Environmental and Utility Services Division (EUSD). The dataset is maintained on an as needed basis from EUSD updates.
